The purpose of this webinar is to understand federal projects, clinical research, and available resources to improve maternal mortality rates. The Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) will review agency level projects and funding. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), along with the Illinois Department of Public Health, will discuss their work to create or improve Maternal Mortality Reviews. Sarosh Rana, MD, MPH, will discuss her experience as a high-risk pregnancy provider and preeclampsia researcher.
